Being without resistance
I see the body as a breathing archive of ancestral memory, cultural history and dream-myth-guidance. I see the studio as space for private excavation, power-presence, and I see the space of [being seen] as community discourse.
My work as artist is deeply personal in the hopes of rattling up and re-working the wrongs and rights of collective world-selves, in the hopes of meeting myself as Animal, Goddess, Many-personed other, and nothingness. I seek to dissolve the edges of my skin. I seek to reconcile. I seek to step into space, object, landscape, actualization.
I seek the re:integration of intangible warrior-ship into presence.
